About

I am Alicia Nelson, a professional model based in NYC. I was born in a beautiful Caribbean country, Trinidad and Tobago. I have always had a passion for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, which I would normally showcase on my social media platforms so others can see my work. My goal was always to inspire and educate others on how to be successful in the modeling industry.

As a professional model, I have learned that modeling often involves a combination of factors, such as unique physical attributes, a strong work ethic, and the ability to connect with my audiences and clients.

I have been modeling professionally for more than 3 years. I have gained professional experiences in the fields of runway, catwalk, promotions, editorial, and print.

I have been in a couple of TV series as a background actor for ‘Zero Days,’ ‘And Just Like That,’ and ‘Etoile.’ I also worked as a background actor for the short film, ‘Public Park.’

I have worked with music artists Dionne Blaize and Chris Webby on one of their music videos as a background actor. I have walked for many shows in NYC and Atlanta.

I was on the Times Square billboard twice. Plus, I have also been in 6 magazines such as Starrivera Magazine, Beautica, Looplite, 6xf, Artells, and Quadro.

What set me apart from other models is my distinctive look and bubbly personality. My unique features and striking appearance are what turn heads when I enter a room.
Versatility is one of my many traits, and as a model, I can adapt to various styles, from high fashion to commercial modeling, showcasing a wide range of looks.

Unbelievable but true, I am also a full-time IT engineer, in other words, ‘a geek,’ in which I am also passionate. This is me in a nutshell.

My love for modeling started when I was thirteen years old, staring at the television, looking at Naomi Campbell slaying the runway for Victoria's Secret. I told myself that someday I would do that, and I did that.
Modeling has opened doors for me to be true, creative, and authentic on the runway, in editorials, and in my photoshoots. My work demonstrates the true identity of myself, which is a Caribbean woman bursting with talents that set me apart from the rest.
